• BSEE required, MSEE preferred, along with 5+ years design related experience.
• Hands-on experience with analog and high-speed digital/baseband hardware design and integration, with a thorough understanding of microcontrollers, DSPs, PLDs, memory components, and high-speed logic.
• Experience with FPGA design required.
• Knowledge of PowerQUICC II and Tiger SHARC desired.
• Experience simulating circuit performance is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile communications standards is desired.
• Experience in performance verification and release of technical products to manufacturing
• Strong written & verbal skills.
• Good computer skills required.
Main Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement manufacturable products from concept to production.Work with a small engineering design team in designing next generation communication products for the wireless communications industry.
Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of the logic/hardware components of mobile communications systems.Includes circuit design, schematic generation, PCB layout, using test instruments to test, debug and qualify designs, and all activity necessary to release a design to production.
